While the FDA has exempted most hearing aid devices from premarket approval or clearance, our hearing aids remain subject to requirements for manufacturer registration and device listing, as well as FDA regulations on standards for performance, manufacturing, labeling, and safety.
Most other options sold online are PSAPs or general amplifiers that make everything louder, not clearer. PSAPs are not hearing aids and don’t have to meet the same standards.
