What You Need to Know About Our Recent App Update

BY EARGO - FEBRUARY 9, 2024

We recently pushed a required update to the Eargo mobile app (version 4.0.0, requires iOS 15.0 or later /  Android 7 or later). This update prompts you to either "Sign Up" or "Log In" to your Eargo Account before entering the app. If you previously registered your system online on eargo.com, we automatically created a "My Account" for you using the email you provided. If you never registered your system, that’s ok, too. Take a look at the below options to learn more.

I’ve Never Registered My System and Don’t Have an Eargo Account

No problem! Choose "Create a new account". Accept Eargo’s terms, then sign up from the Eargo app using your desired email and password. Your new Eargo Account can be used in both the app and on eargo.com.

I Have an Eargo Account and Used a One-Time Passcode to Log In to Eargo.com

If you’ve been using your email and a one-time passcode (e.g. four randomized numbers) to access your web-based Eargo Account on eargo.com, you’ll need to select "Create a new account", accept Eargo’s terms, then sign up in the Eargo mobile app. You will create a new, unique password, as the Eargo app does not use a one-time passcode for access. The unique password you create for the app can also be used for your web-based Eargo Account moving forward.

I Have an Eargo Account and Used a Password to Log In on Eargo.com

If you’ve been using your email and a password to access your web-based Eargo Account on eargo.com, you’ll use the same email and password to log in to the Eargo app for the first time. From the Eargo mobile app, select "I already have an account", accept Eargo’s terms, then log in. Easy peasy!

I Have an Account but Don’t Remember My Password

No worries. From the Eargo mobile app, select "I already have an account". Accept Eargo’s terms, then enter the email you’ve been using for your account. Next, tap "Don’t remember your password?". You’ll receive an email from “no-reply@eargo.com” within minutes. Go to the email to "Confirm" your request and create a new password. If you don’t see the email in your main inbox, be sure to check your junk and spam folders!
